COURSE TIMETABLE

WEEKEND RIDDEN COURSES

Arrive 5-6pm Friday for introductory meeting.

Extra lessons with Mary Wanless are usually available on the afternoon of arrival. Please indicate interest on booking form and telephone for a time one week beforehand.

We are offering a new optional groundwork session for riders who only want to ride once, and ask you to state your preference for supervised flatwork or groundwork on your booking form. This teaches the basics of Equine Learning Theory, following the work of Australian Andrew McLean.Once the horse understands the aids for go, stop, 'park', right and left from the ground, ridden work becomes much easier. We will not hold you to your choice – you are allowed to change your mind when you arrive, but it helps us to have an idea of numbers.
